Adopt or sponsor a bird of your choice
You can support your favourite bird by sponsoring it and in doing so; you will receive a photo, certificate proof and have a discounted rate for one whole year on additional visits.

Adopt or sponsor a bird box for wild birds of prey
This will allow you to enjoy the wild birds in your local area. With the expertise of the Hawk & Owl Trust, I voluntarily erect these boxes to encourage wild birds to take up residence. This has already had great success within the local area.

Every effort is made to render 1st aid treatment to wild birds of prey, with 24hr advice given for assistance and/or guidance. Wild, injured or rescued birds will receive veterinary treatment if required at Great Western Referrals and taken to Hawk Conservancy in Andover, for rehabilitation.
Success Stories......
This is a Common Buzzard, picked up very recently (July 2008), that was found on the Whitehall farmlands.
He is a young male that crashed on its maiden flight and was exhausted from lack of food. He suffered a broken leg, which we put into a splint, before taking it for specialist avarian care. The young fella was brought back here to Reybridge and is now being crop fed through a syringe for a couple of days, as he's still quite weak. When he's eating well for himself, and we believe it is safe to do so, he will be released back to the same location we found him. With ours and Great Western Referrals intervention he should make a sound recovery, back in the wild.
This is a Common Buzzard, known as 'Buddy', which we helped in March 2007.
He was brought back to full health, with assistance from Hawk Conservancy, and successfully released in November 2007 .
This is a Tawny Owl brought in to me by locals, who found it in the road.
We gave it 1st aid and glocuse and took it again to Hawk Conservancy.
****Stop Press - 17th July 2008**** The latest on this young fella is that he is fine and will be released very soon. He had most likely been hit by a car and had minor cere ( part of beak) damage.
Please note we cannot keep wild birds along side our own birds, but we do everything possible to release them back into the wild, in the area they were found.
